REAL JUNKPDX PROJECT

House cleanout, before & after.

Removing household contents makes the next stage of a property transition easier to see. This real JunkPDX photo pair follows one living room from furnished space to the result after contents removal.

The removal scope

Furniture and household contents were removed from the living room shown. The before-and-after pair documents the cleared space in this room.

The next property stage

Exposed flooring and some carpet padding remain after removal. With the contents cleared, the next property stage can be planned separately, including flooring, repairs or deep cleaning.

FROM THIS PROJECT TO YOURS

Plan a similar cleanout.

For your own house cleanout, make the removal decisions room by room. Give the team one clear picture of what can go, what must remain and who can confirm the scope onsite.

  • List the included rooms and identify the furniture, boxes and loose contents approved to leave.
  • Set aside personal documents, keepsakes and retained belongings before the walkthrough.
  • Share current room photos and describe stairs, doorways, parking and the loading route.
  • Explain which work follows removal so repairs, flooring and cleaning have their own arrangements.
